March Handmade in Texas Brag Wall: Lions, Lambs and Water Conservation, Oh My!

Day 1 of Tree Removal
You know the old saying, March comes in like a lion and out like a lamb...

The Texas drought has wrecked devastation on the urban forests of Texas. After 5 dead trees fell in our back yard in January and February, we finally had 19 more removed. Our yard, minus the 24 trees, is a much different landscape.  You can view more photos of the process on my custom furniture blog.

Do you make a product that centers around the March theme: Lion, Lambs and Water Conservation, Oh My!? Add a link to up to three products you've made by hand in the Lone Star State.

Day 2 of Tree Removal
Your link can be to your product on your blog, website or any of the marketplaces like Etsy and eBay. Sorry, linky lists and Facebook don't seem to work together, so please no links to Facebook.

Please link to a single product and not your home page.

Though it is not required, a link back to http://handmadeintexas.net/ is appreciated. You can also share the love by adding the code for this list to your own blog. To do so, click the "get the code" link below. If you do post the list to your own blog, please let me know in the comments so I can visit!

Further incentive, the product with the most "likes" by March 31, 2012 will get a little extra exposure by way of a spotlight post on this blog. (Hint: It's okay to tell your friends to vote for you!)

  1. I'm so sorry to hear about your trees. No lions or lambs currently in stock, but I think you have a cute idea for submission. No listings for the water conservation theme either but as a garden coach, I promote the use of waterwise garden designs. I'll be at the Downtown Arlington (TX) Farmers Market on March 31 from 8am-1pm with a selection of water thrifty plants.
